UAU Fall Application Now Open
Afterschool programming at PS55 is provided by United Activities Unlimited. It is funded by the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development and is free to all families. The program runs from Monday - Friday, and the students attend from 2:20 until UAU Dismissal, which is from 5:00 - 5:45. There is a period of snack, a period of homework help, and a period of enrichment activity each day. The application process is open from now until Wednesday 8/10 and applications will be accepted on a first come/first served basis until each grade has reached its capacity, with priority given to sibling applicants whenever possible. DYCD-funded providers offer housing support for NYC young adults, adults and families. Programs for adults and families offer housing assistance to low-income tenants, homeowners and tenant groups with the goal of attaining and maintaining adequate, affordable and safe housing, while providing services for young adults that need a place to stay in times of crisis.
